However, cyber security is never static. The threat landscape evolves constantly, with cyber criminals continually developing new techniques to target organisations of every size and sector. Maintaining the highest standards requires continual improvement rather than viewing compliance as a one-time achievement.
That commitment to continuous improvement is why Rudolph and Hellmann is now working towards achieving Cyber Essentials Plus certification, with the aim of being certified by October 2026.
Why Cyber Essentials Plus?
Cyber Essentials Plus is the highest level of the UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials certification scheme. Unlike the standard Cyber Essentials certification, Cyber Essentials Plus includes rigorous independent technical testing to verify that security controls are not only in place but are working effectively in practice.
The certification assesses organisations against key areas including:

These controls are designed to protect organisations against the most common cyber attacks and significantly reduce the likelihood of successful breaches. According to the UK Government, organisations implementing Cyber Essentials controls experience substantially fewer cyber insurance claims, demonstrating the real-world effectiveness of these security measures.
